BWM sponsored a group that brought friends and families together at
Feed My Starving Children, located at 555 Exchange Court, Aurora on
Friday, February 13, 2009 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The purpose was
the emphasize that good planning can be enriched by giving back.
Barrington Wealth Management is proud to have partnered with MFS,
in an opportunity to better our world for the common good. This event
was open to entire familes and benefited starving children in a third
world country.
Students also received 2 hours community service credit for participating.
The approach was simple: children and adults hand-packed meals designed especially for starving children, and FMSC
shipped the meals to more than 50 countries around the world. In 2007
alone, 185,000 volunteers packed more than 43 million meals.
Can you believe in just a few hours the group packed over 17,000 meals, enough for 48 children to be fed for a full year!
